The Jazz Ensemble is open to any student that plays saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, guitar, or drum set. Students will have an opportunity to learn about jazz history, improvisational skills, and jazz ensemble skills through preparation and performance. Jazz Ensemble meets every morning at 6:40 AM as a "0" period course. As a performance-based class, students perform at concerts, festivals, workshops, and competitions.
